Christmas and New Year saved - by local locksmith
We were having problems locking our front door, Stuart from Alan’s Locksmiths turned up promptly the Saturday before Christmas. He quickly got to the root of the problem. As the lock was a sealed unit the only solution was a new part, but this could not be obtained until the new year. He had an idea and suggested that as the lock was not working, it would not do any harm to try it, luckily this worked which saved our day {and our xmas/ new year}. It only cost us a small labour charge, we can not praise Alan’s Locksmiths enough. Will recommend Stuart to anybody.

Door Lock broken - Knebworth
We had a door lock replaced over 2 years ago, it stopped working recently. We called back Stuart who turn up ASAP. He told us the part was out of guarantee but replaced it free for us. What a fantastic service. We are glad we found him in the first place.

UPVC door would not lock - Stevenage
When our UPVC door would not lock a friend suggested Alan’s Locksmiths, who had done a job for him previously. He came round within minutes, made a temporary repair as he had to order parts. He returned later to permanently repair our door, all for an inclusive price. Money well spent, the door now works like new and is guaranteed. There is something to be said for local tradesmen he’s the best recommendation we have ever had, well done.

Panicking on bank holiday - locked out in Stevenage
When I locked myself out on a bank holiday, I had to call out a locksmith I was at my wits end, really panicking as I had left a pan boiling. Luckily for me I called out Alan’s Locksmiths. Stuart's calm, friendly attitude relaxed me immediately, he assured me there was nothing to worry about, as the smoke alarm had started bleeping, I almost cried with relief when he opened the door, cannot thank him enough.

Letchworth Lockout - nothing to worry about
After calling Alans’s locksmiths when I locked myself out, Stuart put me at
ease, told me exactly what he was doing. The job turned out to be a bit more fiddly than first
thought but he got me inside with out any damage, he even sorted out minor repairs at no extra
charge. A very frustrating, embarrassing situation turned out to be nothing to worry about after
all with Stuart's calm, reassuring manner.

We were locked out after loosing our key on saturday evening, not knowing what to do we called two locksmiths, the first turned out to be a call centre, the second was Alan's Locksmiths who arrived within 15 minutes because he was a local, who got us in within minutes without any damage. Stevenage Lockout - there in 20 minutes
Stuart from Alanslocksmiths turned up within 20 minutes, after I had waited over 2 hours
for another locksmith, who didn’t even have the courtesy to ring me. He got me indoors
within minutes on a cold, wet Sunday afternoon. Well done - I have already recommended him to
